In 2025, the Sino-French Environmental Month Youth Painting Competition (17 - 22 age group)

Within the framework of the "Sino-French Environment Month 2025""event initiated and hosted by the French Embassy in China, the Alliance Française in China undertakes the "Sino-French Environment Month Youth and Children's Painting Competition" with the theme of "Blue Planet, Green Future". The Sino-French Environment Month was founded in 2014 and is the only interdisciplinary event festival organized by a foreign embassy in China in multiple cities, focusing on environmental issues. The Sino-French Environment Month aims to maximize public awareness of environmental protection and strengthen cooperation between China and France on environmental issues.

Participants

Aged 17 - 22. The competition is open to all young people aged 17 to 22 for the first time. Young art students and those aspiring to work in the art field are encouraged to participate actively./p>

(Joint creations are not supported in this competition.)

Competition rules

Create media materials according to the theme: painting, photography, video

Digital paintings or AI-generated works are not accepted.

Work specifications

Painting works: Participants are required to create on a piece of paper sized A3 (420mm X 297mm)

Photographic works: The resolution is 300 dpi, limited to single photographic works.

Video works: The duration should be within 3 minutes, and the resolution should not be lower than 1280*720.

Review limitations

Please do not leave any marks representing personal information on the paintings (including but not limited to: personal signatures, personal seals, group logos, etc.)

* If it is found that the selected works do not meet the work specifications, the organizer has the right to revoke the award qualifications that have been obtained.

Upload requirements

[1]work submission deadline: September 28, 2025

[2] Painting works/photographic works shall be submitted in.jpg/.jpeg image format. The size of the photographed or scanned file shall be between 1M and 10M, and the quality shall be clear.

Apple's Macintosh (1984) [3] Video works shall be submitted as electronic files in MP4 format, and the size of the work shall not exceed 100M.

[4] Indicate name, institution, gender, address, phone number, email, work title, painting type, material, creation year, instructor, work specifications, work introduction, and whether to participate in an offline exhibition

[5]When submitting the work, a bilingual work introduction in Chinese and French is required. The introduction in each language should not exceed 150 characters.

Original work tips

Works participating in the offline exhibition need to send the original works to Beijing, China. Please keep your original works for the competition properly. (The relevant transportation costs will be borne by the organizing committee. For details, please refer to the email receipt.)
